Flags representing any level of emergency alliance (NATO, UN, etc.) or government (country, province, county, city, etc.) are command-and-control, aka war, flags. The war flag colors running in my blood, not because of me but because of my childhood, shall continue to mean: Blood is the price (red) of purity (white) and loyalty (blue); and I am loyal to "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness" defining "America" and I always live as close to America as I can (given my gottens). My adopted peacetime colors are the AnCap colors black and yellow respectively for self-ownership and private property; they exist in a cold but not hot war zone. --------------------------------- I seriously conclude the only hope for our species is to become the global village (a term from Marshall McLuhan -- not global Government -- village as in each member of our species identifying as one tribe, the homo sapiens tribe; thus evolving out of primitive tribalism. Our name means "the one that knows" and knowledge is our only leverage against our extinction and presently I suggest we are doing a crappy job of using it. I Suggest we evolve past superstition and replace it with individual spirituality and better evolving the social institution of the Church/Holy Place/Mosque/Temple/Etcetera into the next society level of what I call the Extended Extended Family (EEF). For instance when I was a teenager in a church youth group, my friend loaned me his father's very expensive paint sprayer for me to paint a car with. My friend didn't even bother to ask his father because I was in their Church. When his father asked him about it, his father agreed with his son's decision, no problem. I see the next level up from the EEF as the global tribe/village in a similar pattern as present Switzerland's almost automated direct Democracy; but instead of Democracy the Voluntary Society. BTW I capitalize words that some people hold sacred; also, the Voluntary Society is complicated but can be understood with studying and in the future I hope to write such references in a unique concise style.
